What is the picture resolution and how many colours could be presented?
The resolution is 512×64. Dot matrix looks like the following.
Every color is represented by 1bit, thus it gives you flexibility of mixing 8 colors, including black
What is inside?
There are RGB leds, 32 bit ARM MCU, lipo battery and some other stuff I don’t want to talk about 🙂 There are no any other external (extra/additional) parts, like additional controllers, battery, etc.
How many pictures can blades hold?
It depends on the pictures. They are compressed using gzip but uncompressed takes 12KB each. An embedded memory size is 2MB, therefore there is a space for more than 170 pictures or more. The average compressed picture’s size is 4Kb, so you can store around 500 pictures (good compression ratio)….
How about battery?
The battery is 1s 400mAh lipo and it can run about 20 minutes, depending on the pictures’ content. The USB programming cable has installed charging circuit, so you can use it for charging blades as well. When you turn on the blade, a led bar presents current voltage, so you can decide to take one more fly or to charge the battery.
Can I replace the battery?
No, you can’t because it’s highly integrated with the blades itself. Although you can connect another small lipo, glue it outside, balance the blades and continue you crazy show 😉
What sizes are available?
We can provide any size between 600 and 800 mm. 64 led set takes 512mm. Based on this 600mm blade will have less leds modules (3 modules * 16 leds = 48 leds), but 800mm will fit 80 leds 😉
